BGIS 2025: All You Need to Know

BGIS 2025 is one of the biggest eSports tournaments in India where both amateur and pro BGMI players can participate. With a huge prize pool and multi stage format BGIS 2025 is going to be intense and fun. Here’s all you need to know:

Dates and Registration

  • Registration : January 3 to January 20, 2025.

  • In-Game Qualifiers : January 25 to February 2, 2025.

  • Grand Finals : April 18 to 20, 2025, in Kolkata.

Players can register through KRAFTON India Esports website which is revamped for easier access.

Tournament Format

BGIS 2025 has a multi stage format to test both amateur and pro teams. Here’s the breakdown:

  1. In-Game Qualifiers (Jan 25 – Feb 2):

  • All registered teams will play 15 matches, top 10 results will be counted.

  • Top 1024 teams will advance to Round 1.

  1. The Grind (Feb 5 – 23):

  • 64 pro teams will compete in a qualifying round.

  • Teams will be divided into 4 groups, top teams will advance to later rounds.

  1. Rounds 1 to 4 (Feb 16 – March 16):

  • Teams will compete in group stages, top teams will advance to next round.

  • Each round will narrow down the teams, till Quarterfinals.

  1. Quarterfinals and Wildcard Round (March 20 – 27):

  • 64 teams will compete, top 16 will advance to Semifinals.

  • Wildcard Round is a second chance for teams to qualify.

  1. Semifinals (March 29 – April 6):

  • 32 teams will compete over 2 weeks, top 16 will advance to Grand Finals.

  1. Grand Finals (April 18 – 20):

  • Top 16 teams will compete in an offline LAN event in Kolkata.

  • 18 matches will decide the BGIS 2025 champion.

Prize Pool and Highlights

  • Prize Pool: ₹2 crore (approx $240,000) so it’s going to be intense.

  • Inclusive Format: Open to all players, amateur and pro teams can participate.

  • Offline Grand Finals: The LAN event in Kolkata will be a live experience for fans and players.
